LAST BOOTCAMP THIS SEASON...

INT/ADV On2 & Cha Cha: 17-19 February

We have a couple of men's places left for this bootcamp (ladies places are sold out). Please contact us if you are interested.

This bootcamp is designed for experienced On2 dancers, who love On2 & cha cha and want to spend a whole weekend with like minded dancers! You pick up turn patterns and footwork sequences with ease and you are looking to develop the fine details of your dancing ... aesthetic, style, quality of movement, rhythm/musicality, creativity etc.
You are confident with leading/following and enjoy social dancing On2. Most importantly you should have excellent timing On2, i.e. you should be able to execute all turn patterns coordinating the armwork whilst maintaining the basic rhythm with the feet constantly (with the music!)

ALCHEMY DANCE ACADEMY

 

We are looking forward to re-introducing the Level 5 class this coming Thursday. Both Level 4 & 5 will continue to be by invitation only. For Level 4 & 5 students, if you also wish to take part in the Level 3 class on Thursdays, the fee is now £10 for 2 classes.

The next 6 week beginners courses will be starting Tuesday 17th & Thursday 19th January 2012. If you introduce a friend who signs up for a course, you get a class for free! Terms & conditions apply. The course is £40 per person. If a couple (man & woman) book in advance, they get the course for a discounted price of £70 (the fee on the night £40 per person). Places are limited so advance booking is advised.

Remember that we offer 'assessment dances' to students of the Academy. If you want an evaluation of your progress, and individual feedback of what aspects of your dancing you need to focus on, please ask us. We have allotted times on Thursdays evenings, before and after the classes.

TUESDAYS (No Change):
8-9pm	Beginners Course -Next Cycle commences 17th January 2012: £40 for 6 week course Level 2 (drop-in class £8) Level 3 (drop-in class £8)
9-10pm	Practice Dancing Session

THURSDAYS:
7.30pm	Assessment session for new students with prior salsa experience

9-10pm	Level 4 On1 (invitation only class £8 for 1 class, £10 if also participating in Level 3 class) Level 5 On2 (invitation only class £8 for 1 class, £10 if also participating in Level 3 class) Beginners & Levels 2 & 3 Practice Session
10-11pm	Practice dancing for all levels

All drop-in classes £8, no need to book. On Thursday evenings £10 for 2 classes. Entry level to the Academy is Levels 1, 2 & 3 We offer assessment dances on Thursday evenings for new students to the academy with prior salsa experience, contact us for more info. Level 4 & 5 by invite only All classes & courses are for adults age 18+ only We operate as a salsa school, not club. Therefore, practice dance sessions are for class participants only The style taught in all classes is cross-body salsa. On1 in Levels 1-4 & On2 in Level 5
