| Hi Everyone! We have a busy and exciting period coming up. Thursdays at Alchemy Dance Academy in Basingstoke are going brilliantly. And after a period in 'hibernation' launching the Academy and working behind the scenes, our performance and guest teaching calendar is choka-block full for the next few months.
Due to Oakridge Hall being used for local elections Alchemy Dance Academy will be closed on Thursday 1st May. We will be back on Thursday 8th May. The next cycle of courses will also commence on the 8th. We will be running 'Conversion to On2: Part 2' which is a follow-on course to the conversion courses we have been running for the last 2 months. Guarantee your place and book now! The Beginners courses will also be starting a new cycle, so spread the salsa word and invite your friends!
There are a few more details on our news below, but keep checking our website as it is kept up-to-date with all the latest. And finally... a reminder that if you are serious about improving your dancing the 'Alchemy Way' we hold private tuition at our studio in WInchester. Our
new show is due
to be launched at Mambo City's 5* Congress at the end of this
month! As a warm up to this we will be doing a preview performance
at Alchemy Dance Academy on Thursday 24th April. If you haven't
been to the Academy yet, we would love for you to come down for
a dance and cheer us on! To those of you starting the Beginners
course next month, you are more than welcome to come for a visit
- watch the classes, social dancing and show, and find out what
you're getting yourself into!!!
Also
coming up is the first of our specialist Academy workshops in
Basingstoke. We are kicking off with a Ladies
Styling & Technique workshop on Saturday 17th
May. Davina will be covering dance movement & technique,
body isolation, rotation, arm styling and how to style within
flow of partnerwork. Places are limited and booking is in advance
