Hi Everyone!

Thank you to everyone who came the launch night of ALCHEMY DANCE ACADEMY in Basingstoke. It was a fantastic evening with an incredible turn out of people. We had lots of positive feedback, and welcome all further comments, good and 'constructive'! We hope the Academy will grow from strength to strength and are always looking for ways to improve. People attending the 'Conversion to On2' course in the first hour as well as the On1 class commented they enjoyed being able to come to 2 hours of lessons in an evening, and with the second class included in the course fee, found it great value for money. We are now taking bookings for April's courses. So if you want to join or repeat a course, book early as the current On2 course was fully booked.

Other feedback was that people liked the format of the evening, and many said that the floor was the best they had ever danced on! We got straight onto the issue of the temperature in the main hall, and have managed to sort out the air-conditioning from this week. We also appreciate that due to the high volume of numbers, the main hall can comfortably accomodate the intermediate and advanced classes only. We have arranged for the improver class to be held in the front hall, with their own sound system!!

Our only Salsa holiday in Spain this year will be with Mambo City. We will be teaching workshops all week and over the weekend. If you haven't been on a Salsa holiday, you can look forward to daily classes, pool parties, nightly dancing in the local salsa clubs, optional trip to Barcelona, as well as relaxation, shopping, sun, sea and sangria!! The holiday caters for all levels from beginners to advanced, and you have the option of joining us for the whole week or just the weekend. This is one not to be missed! Visit the link below for more info.

There are a few more details on our news below, but keep checking our website as it is kept up-to-date with all the latest.

And finally... a reminder that if you are serious about improving your dancing the 'Alchemy Way' we hold private tuition at our studio in WInchester. Also available are gift vouchers for lessons, which we have found to be a popular gift! Contact us for more info.

See you on the dancefloor soon!
