Hi Everyone!

Well the count-down to Christmas is well and truly under way! We hope that you will still find time to relax and mambo during this crazy period! There are plenty of salsa parties to help burn off all those extra calories! We have a busy Christmas week teaching & performing, hope you can join us at one of these great events. Details below.

NEWSFLASH!!!! The news you've all been waiting for... we have finally secured a new home for Alchemy Dance Academy for 2008! We will be holding our regular Academy night EVERY Thursday in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Our launch night will be on Thursday 6th March 2008, so put that date in your diary! Our venue has a fantastic sprung wooden floor, loads of space, and ample free parking. Access is easy from the M3 (J6), A33, M4. We will be running classes at all levels, courses for beginners, and specialist Academy courses/workshops starting with 'Conversion to ON2' courses. Check the Academy page on our website for all the details.

From the New Year, Marchant's only London class will be on Tuesdays at Mambo City's new club night at Club Boulevard in Ealing, London. This really is a great venue with a huge dancefloor, and we are sure it will become one of London's top nights, check it out! Click here for further details.

And finally... if you're looking for a Christmas present with a difference for a salsa dancing friend or loved one, how about a private lesson with one or both of us. ALCHEMY DANCE COMPANY

Coming events over the next few weeks for Marchant and Davina;

This coming Sat 15th, we will be teaching and performing (Take 5) at Lee Hunter's (Absolute Salsa) Rollerworld Massive Xmas Bash in Derby. This promises to be a great night with several guest teachers, performers and DJs, and over 500 salseros! www.absolutesalsa.co.uk

On Wed 26th we will be teaching and performing (Timbalito) at Latin Motion's Boxing Day Salsa Party in Birmingham. Great chance to burn off the Christmas dinner! Mauricio's nights are always fantastic. www.latinmotion.co.uk

Fri 28th is our last regular visit to Basil's Pinnock's fantastic 'Last Fridays' party. This night really is growing from strength to strength. If you haven't yet been, we couldn't recommend it more. This time we will be performing as well as teaching our class. www.dance2salsa.co.uk

On New Years Eve we will be teaching an afternoon workshop and performing at Mambo City's Dinner & Dance at the Radisson Hotel in Heathrow. This was a fantastic night last year, and a sell-out, so don't delay in booking your place. www.mambocity.co.uk

2008

Sat 26th January we will be at Salsa Fiesta's first party night in Kent. We've heard the venue is quite something - live peacocks and all!! Join us there for a class and show.
