Alchemy Newsletter
August 2007

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying your summer (if you can call it that!). We had a fantastic July during which we held the launch party for the DVD - thank you to all of you who came to support that, it was a great evening. We also had our final send-off for the team at Mambo City's Salsa Splash. What an amazing weekend that was (as always!). We performed both our shows and all had a fantastic time. Emotional, sad, but also a beautiful way for the team to say goodbye. Once again a huge thank you goes out to Steven and Simone... its been amazing, we love you both and wish you every success, and you'll always be our Alchemy family. We have a few photos of the weekend in our gallery (check our Egyptian 'alchemist' costumes!) or visit the Mambo City website for a whole lot more.

So, onto our latest news. Our DVD ... if you still haven't got your copy yet ;-) and want to see what its all about, we have released a trailer to give you a bit of a taster. Click here to view. To order your copy, visit our online store.

We now have a regular teaching slot together. Marchant teaches the Advanced class every Monday for Salsa Ambiente in Guildford. Now on alternate weeks, we will be teaching the class together. If you want to get the full Alchemy experience, join us there. It's a really good regular night - great venue and dancers. See our classes page for more info.

COMPETITION TIME!!! Coming up in September is Mambo City's Salsa Splash in Spain. If you've been to any Mambo City events you'll know they are always top class, and this holiday is no exception. We will be teaching there for the whole week. You have the option to attend for the week or just the weekend - great if you want a quick getaway. We would love you to join us on this holiday and are offering a 1 hour private lesson with both of us free of charge, to the first person that books the holiday for the full week. Just contact Mambo City and quote 'Marchant & Davina' when booking.

There are a few more details on our news below, but keep checking our website as it is kept up-to-date with all the latest.

See you on the dancefloor soon!
